The ME/CFS Community Responds: Comments on the CDC Draft Strategic Plan

In spring 2009 the CDC began winding up it's
ten year review of the CDC's CFS Research Program. In Nov 2008 the CFID's Association of America's
6 month review of the program cited mismanagement, poor accountability and lack of responsibility and called the program
'Research to Nowhere'. This was followed in November by an external review by three chronic fatigue researchers. The reviewers called
for the CDC to, among other things, have a public comment session. This lead to the April 27th public session in which people contributed comments on-site, over the telephone and via e-mail.
The CDC will present its draft 5 year review at the CFSAC Meeting at the end of May. Following that there will presumably be
another public comment session
